We created this basic rulebook to be able to carry out diving without stress. The rules of this rulebook should, in any case, be respected, and should not be changed by the divers themselves, without the order of the diving crew. The lack of respect of the rules leads automatically to the exclusion of the diver from the course. The diver is not permitted to demand the restitution of money paid for diving. 1) Diving is approved only with the internationally valid license. The Croatian authorities obtain the diving license in advance, and the necessary expenses are on charge of the divers themselves. If we procure the diving license, we charge 3 euros per diving license. 2) Diving below 40 meters of depth is forbidden even when a diver has the technical diver license. We offer the extra weeks of technical diving lessons for such divers. Only the divers who desire to acquire the degrees of diplomas OWD, CMAS*, DSTA* or the equivalent ones, are allowed to dive in our diving base, but only up to the 18 meters of depth. This depth is the result of the international regulation of the diving associations. The highly educated divers like AOWD, CMAS**, DSTA** and the equivalent ones are allowed to dive in our base up to the maximum of 40 meters depth. Every diver is obliged to carry an alternative air tank during the diving period. In case they don't have one, they must rent one and are charged a certain amount of money in our diving base. 3) The two diving routes are made in one day during one sailing. If the divers are applied for only one diving route, they must pay both routes, even though they took only one route. 4) The divers themselves bear the responsibility for the loss of equipment on the diving boat or in the diving base. The diving base does not bear the responsibility for that. If divers rent the diving equipment, they are obliged to previously check the functionality of that equipment. The subsequent complaint will not be taken into consideration. 5) The responsibility for causing all the damages in the building, the diving base and on the diving boat, is on its author. The necessary expenses are paid in cash. 6) Only diving in the buddy team/buddy team is allowed. In such a manner, if one diver from the assigned team has a problem, all the members of the diving team will interrupt the route. The whole group will always interrupt the diving route in the case of serious accidents, as for ex. the severe diving accident or the deterioration of weather conditions etc. The sign of the interruption of diving is agreed in advance during the briefing with the divers. 7) The divers from the open water diver group, who don’t have 15 routes registered in the logbook, are allowed to dive only in the company of a diver master/the diving guide and the main diver. Only after that a diver is allowed to dive independently in the buddy team. The dive master’s escort is not charged in the price of the diving route. 8) The divers not having the diving computer are allowed to dive only according to the IRTDA table (USA navy). The team guide will organize a comprehensive briefing before every diving route. It is severely forbidden to dive during the period of 24 hours before returning to the base. In the case of decompression, it should continue for 48 hours. 9) Diving must be paid in advance, which relates to all the diving manifestations as well: courses, diving packages, renting of diving equipment etc. 10) If any diver takes the items from the sea, which has been ecologically protected, or is valuable, or if he/she damages the items with an archaeological value, he/she will be expelled from the diving course without the admonition. 11) Particular agreements with our guests situated in the camp: 12) The diving company can exist only if there is cooperation between our guests and our team. For that reason it is necessary that the divers follow the timing agreement as well as any agreement made. We ask the divers to inform the diving base in time, about the eventual cancellation of arrival, in order to respect the diving plan. We are aware that such problems are possible when cooperating with the people on holiday. We hope that you understand our tendency to respect the agreed time. |
