You have terminated your Dive Master or Assistant Instructor course, and now you want to take over more responsibility in the diving sport? The Instructor Trainings course (IFTC) offers you the optimal preparation for the instructor examination. You will become informed about everything from the professional course managers and their staff, namely, the instructors on that course, to be able to become an instructor yourself. The course lasts for 10 days, followed by the 2-day Instructor Finale – Examine. You need to show in front of the examiner on that final examination, what you have learned in both the 8-day course, and all the previous courses, and also, that you have completed all the requirements. If the examiner ascertains that you don’t satisfy all the conditions to become an instructor, you have the opportunity to repeat the exam. The prerequisite conditions for this course: - Dive Master license - At least 120 registered diving routes - Oxygen Provider and Medic First Aid license - At least 18 years of age When you complete all these prerequisites, you can attend the Instructor Trainings course. The following topics are dealt with on the course: - Orientation during the course - Capabilities, techniques and preparation - The diving industry marketing - Dive master’s tasks in the community - The theoretical teaching preparation - The advanced courses and IDD training program - Management in diving as a sport - Planning - Briefing and debriefing guidance How are the following courses maintained: - Open Water Diver Course - Advanced Diver course - Rescue Diver course - Dive Master course - Assistant Instructor course - Teaching of control and security After passing the exam, or, at the end of this course, with the Final Examine Instructor certificate in your hand, you can say without constraints: “I am the diving teacher.” ITC is not organized only in Croatia, but also in the other countries.
