OUR DIVE CENTRE

Our dive centre is located in the furthermost cove within the Glavotok campsite, on the northwestern side of the island. The name Glavotok is a compound of the words “glava“, meaning head, and “otok“, meaning island. If you take a better look at a map, you'll see that the strip between Malinska and the ferry landing Valbiska looks like the head of the island.

Here you can relax in the most beautiful stone pine wood on the island, preserved as a proclaimed nature park. Experience the beauty of the sea and underwater world, enjoy the view of the channel and Cres, the walking paths and hidden beaches, olive groves and pastures, little churches and hamlets. All this leaves the impression you are in the last intact and most charming part of the Mediterranean.

St.Peter's Bay is at the very end of the campsite, secluded, quiet and intact. This idyllic spot first became home to a small dive centre, followed by centres for marine biology, kayaking and archery. All this is blended in the surrounding nature, as we endeavour to leave things unchanged as much as possible. You will have the feeling that time has come to a stop here at this almost imaginary place, the perfect destination of every traveller, guest or tourist.

This is where divers find what they seek, and what makes their heart beat faster, all in  professional and pleasant surroundings with a friendly, homely atmosphere. Our house reef  is right in front of our Dive Centre. We have named this dive site St.Peter, after the bay which marks its start. The wall is of an unusual shape with characteristic aquatic life for the area. An interesting feature of the wall is a small hidden tunnel which leads you back to the beach. Before surfacing, you can practise in our underwater park for buoyancy training.
