THE SHORTEST ROUTES TO THE  MOST BEAUTIFUL DIVE SITES

Our most popular dive sites are around the islands of Krk, Cres, Plavnik, Mali Plavnik, Galun, Kormat, Prvić and Mali Prvić.

DIVE SITES ON THE ISLAND OF KRK

SV.PETAR (ST.PETER)
Our back yard site has several walls and plateaus that reach 45m. Three walls are right in front of our diving centre, two for beginners and one for advanced divers. The flora and fauna are typical for this part of the Adriatic and the aquatic life depends on the season. This is an ideal site for trial dives, control dives,  training, or just to refresh yourself on a hot summer day without dragging a lot of  equipment. It is a unique site on the island as its sheltered location makes diving possible throughout the year. Before entering the wall, you will find an underwater park for buoyancy practice , a training platform for apnea divers, the first wall at a depth of 12 to 33m with a maze at 3-6m, the second wall at 15-40m with a little cave at 33m, and the third “little“ wall at 6m, which is best for juniors' free diving.

GLAVOTOK
A wall that drops to 35m.

SV.JURAJ(ST.JURAJ) A field of mines left over from World War II at depths of 7, 14 and 21m. The mine that is at 21m leans against the wall. Upon return, a mine carrier can be easily spotted. The keel of an iron warship is in the middle of the cove. An interesting and safe cove for diving.

NEGRIT REEF (SIKA NEGRIT)
The wall on this sunken reef stretches from a depth of 7m. You can expect catfish here, as the reef offers favorable conditions for egg laying.

NEGRIT PROMONTORY

A smaller wall with different bottoms: rocky, sandy and covered with posidonia oceanica.

BISKUPIĆ
The dream site for beginners. After a start  in shallow water in a sandy cove,  a rock of a circular shape with a 15m diameter  is soon reached. The rock drops to a max. of 18m.

BRACOL
The site comprises  a wall that drops to a sandy plateau at 25m, where you can see the wreck of a sunken yacht.

PLIĆ TENKI ( TENKI REEF )
This underwater  reef is a favorite among divers, starting at 3m and  going down through walls to a depth of 40m. There is  a  tunnel at 9m, which you can swim through for a length of 5m.The tunnel is home to the conger eel and various species of fish and its walls are covered in the most unusual formations and colours.

RT KAMENJAK (KAMENJAK REEF)

This is an unusual site consisting of two reefs at a distance of 25m. The top of the first reef breaks the water and is visible from the surface. The other reef starts at a depth of 2m and drops to 5m. The reefs are full of holes, crevices and caves and are home to cephalopods, snails and crabs. You will also see some of the rarest types of sponges here. Visibility is always very good, which enhances your experience of this colorful underwater world.

GLAVINA (BIG HEAD)
This is a wall with nice rocks, also on  the southeastern side of the island of Krk.

KAMIN VRBNIK
The site is  near a little port at the foot of Vrbnik, on the island of Krk. There is an opening in the wall at 17m, which rises to the surface in the shape of a fireplace (thus the name “kamin“, meaning fireplace). When swimming there, concentrate on your movements because of  the sandy sediment which can obscure visibility if stirred. When you come to the top of the fireplace, you can take a deep breath, as you have just reached the surface. You can share this experience with not more than two friends, because of the limited space inside the cave.

STEILWAND VRBNIK

Vrbnik has a number of interesting walls which can be reached from the shore.

SV.MARAK (ST.MARK)
This is the most popular site for shore diving  on the island of Krk. It is a small peninsula with two diving sites on one side, and a natural sandy beach on the other. The first site is a wall with many small rocks and passages and the wreck of a small fishing boat. On the other side of the cove there's a smaller and less interesting wall with a cave that houses crabs and other species typical for cave life.If you decide to dive behind the breakwater, on the other side of the peninsula, you might come upon an aircarft engine carrier brought down in World War II.

RT ŠILO (CAPE ŠILO)
The site is suitable for both beginners and advanced divers. Beginners can dive at a sloping sandy plateau where specimens of a rocky bottom emerge, while advanced divers can descend to a wall at a maximum depth of 35m.

PELTASIS SHIPWRECK

Grota is our regular and most popular site thanks to its accessible depth, interesting formations  and  marine biodiversity. The entrance to the cave is at 17m. As soon as you enter it, you will spot two exits, at 3m and 4m respectively. The cave is part of a wall that drops to 45m. It is easy to spot a conger ell hiding in small holes and it is quite common to come across larger schools of fish because of the favorable currents.

PIJANI PATULJAK (DRUNKEN DWARF)

This extremely interesting site is a breathtaking overgrown underwater garden. The wall goes to a depth of 35-40m. When ascending, you can swim through a little  tunnel at 3m. Its ceiling has caved in  in some spots,  creating a beautiful mixture of light and shade.

SELEZINE

A spectacular wall on the island of Cres. It is quite common to come across tuna fish, bonito and Spanish mackerel. There were even encounters with sharks, which is not suprising if we take into account the menu on offer. But Selezine is mostly popular for its valleys of red gorgonia, although this part of the wall is recommended only for advanced divers because of its depth.

LORELAI
A wall shaped as a nose. Under the wall there is a mine left over from World War I. This area is extremely rich / abundant in fish.

BIG CAVE & DEEP CAVE

The Big Cave  or so called “cathedral“, characterized by its unusual vegetation, is 35m long and 10m high. After diving in the cave, you'll notice a wall that drops deep down into the blue sea. Truly an unforgettable site worth visiting.

DIVE SITES ON MALI PLAVNIK ISLAND

MALI PLAVNIK
This is a so called “negative“ semi-circular wall, which then drops off  to a great depth. It is convenient because you can dive in its crack where you will discover many small caves. You'll probably spot an octopus, slug and red scorpionfish. A giant angler, 150cm long, is regularly sighted here.

MAFIA WRACK

This is one of the most popular sites on the island of Plavnik. The nature on the shore is as beautiful as the underwater world. You will always find catfish eggs and a variety of snails along the long wall. At its end you can also see the wreck of a small boat. The story of this boat gave the site its notorious name.

PLATEAUS
Plateaus that descend as pyramids to the depths. This is an ideal spot for lovers of macrophotography.
